The End is nearer than any would like or believe:
What I have attempted is to select certain news articles that reflect the political, and social turmoil that we are facing today; And new articles that reflect Biblical prophecy and the warnings given by the Apostles concerning what the world would be like before the return of Jesus Christ.
I recently wrote back to a friend of mine concerning this and the global warming news we read and here is what I said:
“Not man-made global warming! It is: “AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH SO SHALL BE THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN.” Jesus warned us as God warned Noah and Noah warned everyone else about the end of life as they lived it. They didn’t believe Noah then, and people today don’t believe the warnings of Scripture today.”
I wish everyone to see the perilous times we live in, and what may be the warnings we read in the Scriptures.
People tell me that all this has happened before. That the world goes through these social, political, and religious changes every three or four hundred years. However, there are conditions today that did not exist before that line up with Biblical warnings today. After the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 AD the world went through many struggles and calamities like those experienced by our parents, grandparents, and us. However, on May 14, 1948, everything changed as the Jewish State was reborn out of the ashes of history as prophecy said it would. Things are the same while not the same. While the same evils of social, political, and religious changes remain, they are not equal to what they were prior to 1948.
Personally, I have no idea when Jesus will return–even He does not know. All I can say is like events prior to AD70 where the flood came after God give humanity 120 years to change course or perish, and they scoffed and didn’t believe, and perished, and then in 4 BC when the messiah came as mentioned in Scripture, and people once again did not believe, and since 1948 we have been warned for the last time concerning our rejection of God, and again people do not believe, I have to say that we need to change course and not repeat history and perish, because perishing this time is permanent, there is no repeats as it was after the flood, and after the destruction of Jerusalem.
God does not expect us to stop our pursuits of space exploration, science, medical advancements, etcetera. God wants us to do be creative and be explorers; God would back all that if we accepted Him and believed on His messenger Jesus Christ. He has given us a marvelous gift of freedom, and everlasting life if we believe. When we don’t believe all our pursuits end up on the dark side and are used against us to stifle creativity, and our worship of the one true God.
As Abraham pleaded Five times with God about saving Sodom and Gomorrah from destruction if there were righteous living among them. His pleading ended with the destruction of both cities. Do you think or believe that earth today will be exempt of God’s wrath because we ask Him to give us a chance to revive our spiritual roots?
Today my friends, there is no pleading with God, or attempting to conduct a revival of sorts because that time is over. We have arrived at a point in the prophetic timeline that points to the end of our way of life and the return of Jesus to set up His kingdom for one thousand years, and during that time, there are those who refuse to believe and who will perish permanently, never again to embrace life.
If there is anything that I post that talks of catastrophe it is this post because as the Lord, I do not wish for any to perish, I would love to see all people standing in the presence of the Lord rejoicing, and worshiping God the father of all humanity. However, that is not the case now, nor will it be the case in the future. We are heading toward a very evil period where deception, the like of which the earth has not experienced, will soon take place. In fact, we are beginning to see this happening all around the world where assemblies are giving in to social pressures and government threats, while so-called pastors are pushing the ordnances of God aside just so they can maintain their own status in this life. The gospel of Jesus the Christ is not being preached today in most assemblies across the globe. Listen to the sermons: Most are loaded with sociological, phycological, behavioral modification, and manipulative implications. Biblical instruction as handed down to us by Paul and others are only taught by few assemblies which should indicate to all believers the times, we are living in.
The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 24 is where Jesus tells us what to be on the lookout for:
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so, shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
One of the most important verses in Matthew chapter twenty-four for our time is verse twelve: “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”
Are we there yet? We only need the scriptures to reveal to us the signs of the times, so we are prepared. What we are witnessing today is an increase in the contractions of labor and each one if more painful, especially as the birth of a time of great sorrow quickly approaches. Pray for all believers, and those whom the Lord has chosen to be on the front lines until His return.
